Journey Highlights
Jebel Shams is 240 km away, 3:30 hours from the capital, Muscat, by car 35 minutes before reaching the top of the mountain, the road will be mountainous to the place of accommodation (chalet). On the second day, we will have breakfast at 5 am, and after that, we will start walking at 5:55 am, 12 km to the highest peak in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, 3000 meters. Reaching the summit (the compass), and after a short rest, we start returning from the same route.
